the Elm Fork Trinity River near Carrollton.
* At 0815 am Saturday the stage was 8.07 feet.
* Flood stage is 8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue near 8.1 feet for the next
several days.
* At 8 feet, minor flooding will occur downstream from the gage.

The Texas commission on environmental quality (tceq) has issued
an ozone action day for the Dallas-Fort Worth area for Saturday,
August 1, 2015.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone air pollution in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
on Saturday. You can help prevent ozone pollution by sharing a
ride, walking, riding a bicycle, taking your lunch to work,
avoiding drive-through lanes, conserving energy, and keeping your
vehicle properly tuned.

... Waco ties driest July on record...

No rainfall was recorded at Waco Regional Airport during the month
of July. This ties the record for driest July. Previous occurrences
were in 1993 and 1930.
